... your child will love it....

LKG at SPACE
Welcome to our Kindergarten session. Primary education for a child starts at the age of six. 2 – 6 years of age is referred to as the “preparatory period” during which the child learns:
• To stay away from home for long hours
• Interacting with peers
• Start acquiring healthy eating habits
• Learning to express basic needs
• Learning to share and adjust with peers
• Learning to interact with teachers
• Learning to follow instructions
• Participating in group activities

In India, modern schooling has drifted away from this, and it has become a nightmare for the kids and the parents. There is a tendency to appreciate the phenomenon of increasing standards. What used to be the syllabus in college is now the syllabus in the 12th grade.
Every day more and more information / knowledge are being squeezed into our brains. In this process, we compromise on many other meaningful aspects of our lives such as introspection, leisure, play, socialization, art, and the environment. In the usual schooling method, the main focus is on developing the left brain while the right brain is ignored. What once used to be physical training periods and art periods are now math classes or time for completing the syllabus.

At SPACE, we are always concerned about these issues. Young children are voiceless, and we want to speak for them. We would consider the following approach as appropriate for a balanced growth and development in children.

Focus is on the holistic development, a balanced mental and physical well being of the child. What they are at this age is going to influence their behavioral and intellectual aspects in future.

Our priority is to maintain Good health through Food and Lifestyle. In this regard SPACE will constantly share small packets of knowledge relevant to children that parents may practice for the better health of their wards. The same will be practiced in the school too so that the child is not confused and the change we look for is active. It is better to start good practices as early as possible.
